Aluminum extrusion produces profiles with a wide variety of shapes, including solid, hollow, or semi-hollow. The principle is as follows: a hydraulic press pushes a cylindrical billet of aluminum through a die, hollow tools that determine the desired cross-sectional shape for the profile, depending on the nature of the aluminum alloy. IMALUM only uses primary aluminum to ensure consistency of mechanical properties. With our know-how and state-of-the-art facilities, we design and manufacture an infinite number of different profiles (custom or standard) with tighter tolerances for superior product quality.
